• First, keep your word. There is nothing more irritating than a person who cannot stand behind their product. Honesty is the best policy. If your sterling silver charm jewelry is not really sterling silver, be upfront about the materials you use and advertise your Charm Jewelry more versatile qualities. Always take pride and ownership for your product, because if you don’t who will.

• Second, advertise your Etsy store to as many people as possible. Lots of selling, is a sure-fire way to get your business out there. While you’re busy advertising throw in your business cards, freebies and coupons to keep customers coming back or they can pass the savings along.

• Third, when I first launched my jewelry business, I didn’t have much of a budget to advertise my jewelry, so I invested my time into placing my brand name everywhere. was advertised daily in blogs, social media outlets etc. The more my brand name was out there and seen by patrons, either on physical business cards or swarming around Facebook pages, the more traffic I began to see. I shifted advertisement strategies every so often as to not drown one audience, but I always came back with fresh and exciting products to keep shoppers on their toes!!

• Fourth, run your Etsy business strategically. Make sure you are ready for big holidays, advertise your products on any social site you have and try to target people who are the most likely to purchase your items. If you are on a budget, all the above can be done for roughly free! Good luck in 2018 and beyond.
Little steps can lead to big rewards!!
